Law Abiding Citizen

You have to give Gerard Butler some credit for attempting to add some versatility to his resume by taking a romantic comedy here and there, but it's nice to see him back in Law Abiding Citizen doing what he does best: being a total badass. The Bourne Ultimatum [Blu-ray]

Thursday, February 18th, 2010
Damon is as impressive as ever, continuing to prove himself as a better-than-the-average action hero, particularly after starting his career as Will Hunting. The character doesn’t have much emotional range (he doesn’t smile once in this film), but that only makes the performance more impressive, demonstrating that Bourne has complete control over his emotions, taking down adversaries with a sense of ataraxia and stoicism. He clearly knows how it all ought to work, but doesn't quite have the right language any more. Tags: , , , , , , , , , ,
